Class Descriptions
MAT- The Mat is the Method.  This is where it all began...a system of exercises focusing on the principles of Pilates: concentration, centering, control, precision, breath, and flow.  Move from one exercise to the next, stretching and strengthening as you go.  Participation in Intermediate or Advanced (Level II) classes require instructor approval.

REFORMER/EQUIPMENT-  Adding resistance to and building upon the mat exercises, the equipment challenges the mind and body, bringing the practice to a new level. Equipment classes use the reformer, tower, & chair.

Participation in Intermediate or Advanced (Level II) classes require instructor approval.

MAT/CHAIR COMBO-  Combines the foundations of matwork with the athletic challenges of the Pilates chair.  Great for athletes looking to build strength, endurance, and balance during the winter months. 

TRX CLASSES: These classes take Pilates to the next level of intensity.  Classes are 55 minutes.  The TRX/MAT class will do 30 minutes of TRX followed by a beginner level mat class to stretch out- a perfect intro to TRX!  All fitness levels are welcome, but those with chronic injuries need to meet with an instructor prior to participating in a TRX class. 

EXPRESS: 30 minutes of anything!  This class changes format each week, using all equipment available.  For those with a solid foundation, looking to get a workout in during the workday.
